Work ScheduleFull‑time, onsite role based in West Springfield, MA. Monday – Friday | 7 AM – 4 PM with occasional travel (up to 10%) to corporate facility.Why Placon – You'll Love It HereA strategic, boots on the ground, hands‑on HR leadership roleOpportunity to influence culture and support organizational growthCollaborative environment with strong leadership supportCompetitive pay, benefits, and professional development opportunitiesWhat You'll DoTalent Acquisition: Lead full‑cycle recruiting, staffing, and onboarding for the locationEmployee Relations: Manage performance, policy administration, coaching, and workplace investigationsLeave & Claim Management: Oversee PFML, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and related complianceRetention & Culture: Conduct exit interviews and support initiatives that strengthen engagementLeadership Support: Provide coaching, guidance, and HR partnership to managers and employees Compliance & Policy: Ensure consistent application of policies and employment lawsHRIS & Payroll Operations: Manage HRIS/timekeeping accuracy, approve timecards, support payroll, and complete monthly HR reportingWhat You BringBachelor's degree in HR or related field5–7 years of progressive HR generalist experience (manufacturing preferred)Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision‑making skillsKnowledge of employment law, HRIS systems, and Microsoft OfficeHigh attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesBi-lingual in Spanish; candidates that can speak, read and write fluently in Spanish will be given preferenceDoes this sound like you?If you feel that this job is what you're looking for, applying is a piece of cake - just follow the instructions on this page.
