Behavior Technician

We are hiring an experienced Behavior Technician in the following areas:

Chicopee, MA: Flexible schedule for 3 days a week, sessions 4:00-6:00

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and related developmental disorders. Behavior Technicians implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home or school settings
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs
• Collect accurate data during therapy sessions
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and professional relationship with clients and families
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding client progress
• Follow ethical and professional standards at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Experience working with children preferred (ABA, autism, childcare, education, or related fields)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations
• Ability to pass background checks

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit on the floor, stand, walk, and engage in play-based activities
