Shift Information: Evenings - 3 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Position
Shift:
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (12-hour afternoon shift)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call
- ~48 hrs/week typical
- Holidays required rotation
- No block scheduling
Responsibilities:
- Provide Med-Surg inpatient care (adult patients)
- Monitor and care for telemetry patients
- Typical ratio 1:6 patients
- Administer meds, IV therapies, treatments
- Complete documentation in Meditech
- Perform assessments, admissions, discharges
- Float to other Med-Surg units as needed
- Use NIHSS, BLS, ACLS protocols in care
Requirements
✅ Requirements:
- 2+ years Med-Surg RN experience (required)
- Telemetry experience (required)
- Must be willing to float to any Med-Surg unit
- Basic dysrhythmia course (strongly required)
- Meditech Expanse experience (preferred)
- Certifications required at submission (no pending):
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand (required)
