Summary

Landry's Bicycles Needham is now hiring for the position of Service Manager. As Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the success of the store's service department.You will manage all aspects of running the Service Department including:
1.Leading and inspiring excellent customer hospitality and satisfaction.
2.Deliver a best-in-class bicycle service experience, grow and retain your customer base over time and finally hire, grow, train, and retain quality service staff.

Duties

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
1. Previous bicycle service leadership experience
2. Great leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop future leaders
3. Highly developed bicycle technical skills
4. Positive personal presentation
5. Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
6. Ability to read the moment and communicate effectively with others
7. Knowledge of bicycles, parts, accessories, and the bicycle industry
6. Consistently dependable and reliable
7. Strategic thinker: Ability to step out of the day-to-day to see possibilities and connect concepts in order to improve Landry's system/business.Ability to see and follow through on what needs to be done in order to serve current or future customers.
8. Ability to effectively coach, teach, and supervise others without demeaning, over-complicating, or under- expecting.Willingness and ability to make personnel changes for the good of the store.
9. Excellent self-awareness of own abilities and skills.
10. Highly collaborative with less need to get the "credit" and more desire to get results.

Requirements

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Minimum 2 years experience preferred working as a leader in a bike shop.
• Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customers
• Interest in developing own skills and knowledge as well as sharing with others
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to periodically lift 40 pounds
