TLC Nursing
Pittsfield, MA
Step into a rewarding journey as a Travel Physical Therapist, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across Massachusetts with the exciting opportunity to expand your horizons to locations across the United States. In Pittsfield, you’ll join a close-knit community nestled in the Berkshires, where every day presents a chance to make a lasting impact on mobility, independence, and quality of life. Imagine starting your week in a town surrounded by mountains and outdoor trails, then returning to a welcoming neighborhood filled with arts, history, farmers markets, and acclaimed dining. This role is more than a contract; it’s a chance to grow your clinical confidence while savoring the beauty and culture of New England.

Massachusetts offers a dynamic healthcare landscape with robust hospital networks and diverse rehabilitation settings. Pittsfield sits in the heart of the Berkshires, offering easy access to outdoor recreation, cultural landmarks, and a strong sense of community. For those who crave variety, this program opens doors to assignments across the U.S., enabling you to broaden your clinical experience, work with multidisciplinary teams, and refine your specialty skills in different patient populations and clinical environments. You’ll gain the advantage of practicing in renowned facilities while enjoying the ease of living in a region famous for scenic drives, seasonal festivals, and a supportive, welcoming vibe that makes every placement feel like a home away from home.

As a Physical Therapist on our travel team, you’ll own a comprehensive scope of responsibilities designed to showcase your expertise and foster professional growth. You will perform thorough patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practice, and guide therapeutic interventions focused on gait training, balance, strength, endurance, mobility, and functional independence. Your role will include manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and progressive exercise programming tailored to orthopedic, neurorehabilitation, or geriatrics pathways as needed. You’ll document progress in a clear, compliant manner, communicate findings and goals with patients and families, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care. The position also emphasizes mentorship and ongoing skill development, encouraging you to pursue specialty certifications, advanced functional assessments, and leadership opportunities within the travel program. You’ll have the chance to extend engagements, rotate through different clinical sites, and continually challenge yourself with new patient mixes and treatment paradigms.

Our travelers enjoy competitive benefits designed to recognize your expertise and support your lifestyle. Expect a weekly pay range of $2,713 to $2,773, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week, delivering financial stability as you plan ahead. In addition to competitive compensation, the program offers housing assistance and flexible extension opportunities, so you can tailor your assignments to your personal and professional goals. You’ll receive comprehensive onboarding and continuous support from a dedicated team that understands travel life, including 24/7 assistance while you’re on assignments. Ongoing access to clinical resources, evidence-informed practice tools, and a stipend for continuing education helps you stay at the forefront of physical therapy care while you explore new markets, facilities, and patient communities.

The company values your contributions and is deeply committed to empowering your career trajectory. We invest in a supportive environment that prioritizes professional development, mentorship, and pathways to advancement within rehabilitation services. Our culture honors collaboration, adaptability, and life-long learning, ensuring you have the encouragement and resources to pursue subspecialties, leadership roles, or academic partnerships wherever your travel journey takes you. You’ll join a network of clinicians who celebrate achievements, share best practices, and champion compassionate care that improves lives—one patient at a time.
