Position OverviewThe Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to golfers while supporting daily golf operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests and provide a welcoming, professional first impression
- Check in golfers, manage tee times, and process payments accurately
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for greens fees, merchandise, and cart rentals
- Answer phones and assist with tee time bookings and customer inquiries
- Maintain organization and presentation of the pro shop and merchandise displays
- Assist with merchandising, inventory control, and restocking
- Coordinate with outside staff to ensure smooth tee time flow and pace of play
- Provide information on course conditions, policies, and daily operations
- Support tournament and outing operations as needed
- Uphold standards of professionalism, service, and accountability
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Interest in golf is preferred but not required
