Our client is a growing business services organization seeking support for an active AR cleanup project.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Entry Level Accounting Professional to join a team supporting an accounts receivable cleanup project. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience with the AR process, exposure to a large, complex environment, and strong potential to convert to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

· Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation and cleanup across multiple systems

· Support aging analysis and identify discrepancies across customer accounts

· Perform data scrubbing and validation to ensure accuracy of financial records

· Assist with cash application and payment posting as needed

· Collaborate with team members to research and resolve outstanding/aged AR items

· Support month-end close activities including reconciliations and reporting

· Maintain organized documentation and tracking of cleanup progress

· Perform other accounting support duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

·0-2 years of accounting or finance experience (internship experience considered)

· Comfortable with frequent outreach to clients and troubleshooting client issues/requests

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

· Comfortable working with large volumes of data and ambiguity

· Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

· Prior exposure to AR, reconciliations, or ERP systems is a plus
