Entry Level Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to become the newest member of our maintenance team. The position will be based out of our East Coast Seafood Corporate Headquarters, also known as Seatrade, located on the New Bedford, MA waterfront.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician. If you have a passion for problem-solving and a desire to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

• Keeping our machinery and equipment running smoothly by performing routine maintenance tasks.
• Learning how to troubleshoot and fix issues with machinery under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Following instructions and manuals to understand how our equipment works and how to maintain it properly.
• Using basic tools to perform maintenance tasks and make repairs.
• Keeping detailed records of maintenance tasks and reporting any issues to senior team members.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required, but some exposure to maintenance tasks or mechanical skills are a plus.
• A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Basic knowledge of tools and machinery is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
