Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide remote therapy services to clients across Massachusetts. In this role, you will meet with clients through a secure telehealth platform, complete clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support for individuals managing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and other mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
- Complete intake assessments and gather relevant clinical history
- Create treatment plans that reflect each client’s needs, goals, and presenting concerns
- Use evidence-based therapy approaches appropriate to the client’s symptoms and progress
- Maintain timely clinical notes, treatment updates, and required documentation
- Monitor client safety and follow proper protocols for risk concerns or crisis situations
- Coordinate referrals or additional support when a client needs a higher level of care
- Protect client privacy and follow HIPAA, ethical, and professional standards
- Participate in clinical check-ins, case reviews, or team communication as needed
Requirements
- Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor license in Massachusetts
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Previous experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples, or families preferred
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and digital documentation tools
- Strong understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and progress notes
- Ability to manage a remote caseload with professionalism and reliability
- Must have a private, secure workspace suitable for telehealth sessions
