Job Title: Machinist

Pay: $30 - $40/hr

Shift: First (1st) shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Location: - Brockton, MA

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining precision machine tools to produce high-quality parts and components. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and productively operate machines to perform precision machining operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Machinist.
• Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
• Ability to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot machinery.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brockton, MA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
