Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Chiropractic Secretary to manage front desk operations and support the day-to-day functioning of our chiropractic office. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a key role in ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression

-Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.

-Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries via email or in person.

-Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems (EHR/EMR).

-Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance benefits.

-Handle patient intake forms, billing/coding, and payment processing.

-Prepare and organize files for the chiropractor prior to appointments.

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.

-Coordinate referrals and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

-Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate's degree or healthcare-related coursework a plus

-Prior experience in a medical or chiropractic office preferred

-Proficient in office software and EHR/EMR systems (e.g., ChiroTouch, Jane, or similar)

-Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

-Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.

-Understanding of basic medical terminology and chiropractic care is a plus.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly wage or salary based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
