Are you an accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, working with numbers, and making an impact? Blueport, Inc. is looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting who wants to build their career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of accounting and finance while working alongside a supportive team that values your ideas and professional growth.

Please note: This is an on-site position based in our Walpole, MA office. Remote work is not available.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries in Sage 50
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Generate monthly financial reports for management
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Manage daily cash reporting and assist with cash flow forecasting
• Participate in weekly finance meetings to review cash needs and financial performance
• Support financial analysis, reporting, special projects, and ad hoc requests
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with administrative duties and other accounting projects as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Experience with ERP systems; Sage 50 experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
