We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented No-Bake Coremaker to join our foundry team. In this role, you will be responsible for mixing, packing, and finishing high-quality sand cores using room-temperature chemical binding processes. Your precision will directly impact the structural integrity and internal design of our metal castings, ensuring we meet strict quality and production standards. This position may require access to export-controlled technology or software source code that is subject to export controls restrictions under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) and will therefore be required to meet eligibility criteria under ITAR and EAR regulations.

Duties:

• Identify & inspect core boxes
• Clean core box – spray release as needed
• Install chills, hooks, vent rope, and any other components per mold specs
• Ram sand into core boxes per specs
• Remove sand cores per specs
• Clean, inspect, and repair any defects on the core
• Empty sand hoppers
• Change empty chemical totes and barrels
• Clean sand mixers and perform operator PMs as required
• Clean and maintain area
• Attend production meetings
• Complete department safety sheets
• Perform other duties or assignments as directed by management

Education/Experience:

No specific education or certification is required, however, high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is a plus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/loud.

While this position is designated as a second-shift job (typically 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm) and is eligible for a $3.00 shift differential, production demands may occasionally require shift adjustments. The current schedule is 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and this role remains eligible for the differential.
