Nuclear Engineering Supervisor
- Lead and coordinate engineering workload distribution, ensuring projects, customer orders, and engineering requests are appropriately prioritized and assigned.
- Monitor department capacity, backlog, and upcoming project demand to balance resources and maintain on-time delivery of engineering work.
- Oversee technical review processes for quotes, orders, and engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Facilitate regular engineering team meetings to review project progress, communicate organizational updates, and align priorities.
- Support manufacturing and cross‑functional teams by providing technical guidance, resolving engineering questions, and assisting with production or testing needs.
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in valve design for the nuclear industry.
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
- 5+ years of working experience with quality program to 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR Part 21, NQA-1 and IEEE qualifications
- Minimum of two years in a leadership role with a strong focus on talent development
- Knowledge of ASME BPV Code, material and welding standards, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Practical experience in valve design for the nuclear industry
- Licensed Professional Engineer desirable
