Financial Reporting Specialist $100k/yr
Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual, quarterly, and interim financial statements and footnotes in compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Create investor-specific monthly reports and address investor inquiries
- Prepare monthly/quarterly accounting reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
- Compile audit deliverables and review communications from auditors
- Analyze daily trades for proper classification within the accounting system
- Prepare/review materials for Board of Directors meetings
- Conduct accounting guidance research and contribute to special projects and process improvements
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or large-scale National CPA firms strongly preferred) with a focus on financial services clients
- CPA certification or active progress toward CPA completion
- Experience with regulatory reporting and familiarity with consolidation accounting
- Background in hedge funds, private equity, or financial services a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
