Shipping/Receiving 1st Shift

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving|Driver Associate is responsible for handling daily inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a food production environment. When not engaged in shipping driving a non CDL box truck when needed to make regional deliveries will be expected .

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments

Prepare and package outgoing orders for global distribution

Operate electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently

Maintain inventory accuracy through data entry and system updates

Ensure warehouse cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards

Communicate via email and computer systems regarding shipments and inventory

Follow safety and sanitation guidelines (hairnets, beard nets, no jewelry or loose clothing)

Delivery of products to customers using non-cdl truck when needed

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in shipping and receiving (food industry preferred)

Valid certifications for electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift (proof required)

Ability to lift 30–40 lbs consistently

Must be able to speak, read, and write English (bilingual a plus)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic understanding of food safety practices

1-3 years successful non CDL box driving experience with a 7 year clean driving history, non-expired license, and active DOT card.
