In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.
- Provide patient care based on standards of care and practice
- Respect and uphold each patient's dignity and self-regard
- Conduct patient/family teaching based on learning needs
- Plan and prepare patient/family for discharge with necessary support
- Delegate and supervise nursing interventions appropriately
- Prioritize patient care and seek assistance as needed
- Document all pertinent data and patient responses accurately
- Administer medications and IV therapy safely
- Participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds
- Recognize and report abnormal lab and diagnostic results
- Provide ongoing assessment and teaching to surgical patients
- Utilize pain management devices effectively
- Set up and troubleshoot surgical equipment
Requirements include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current MA RN License
- ACLS upon hire or active BLS with ACLS within 60 days
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- MOAB class required within 60 days of hire
