Proclinical is seeking a BD Director to join a growing organization in the clinical research space.

We are seeking two Business Development Directors to join our client's team, with opportunities based on both the East Coast and West Coast. Please indicate your preferred region in your application.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will focus on building and maintaining relationships with biotech clients, particularly within the oncology and renal therapy areas, as well as early-phase studies.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development within the CRO industry.
• Strong understanding of biotech client needs and the clinical research landscape.
• Expertise in oncology, renal, and early-phase studies is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
• Familiarity with commission-based compensation structures is a plus.

The BD Director's responsibilities will be:

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with biotech clients, focusing on oncology, renal, and early-phase studies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the clinical research space.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to promote services.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Track and report on sales performance, including billing and revenue achievements.
