Job Summary
As the Business Analyst, you will collaborate with business owners/stakeholder to understand business needs, processes project specifications, business case development, cost sheet analysis and data sources.
Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst . This is a full-time, contract role and is remote . This role will collaborate with business owners/stakeholder to understand business needs, processes project specifications, business case development, cost sheet analysis and data sources. Translate business needs into clearly defined and documented detailed, high quality requirements, functional designs, and system supplemental specifications for new applications or analyzes change requests/enhancements in existing applications.
What You'll Do

Analyzes data and processes to develop viable, business-driven and cost-effective solutions: gathers information; tests and probes assumptions; analyzes data; interprets systems requirements, using current and emerging technologies to develop and validate effective solutions; collaborates with system architects and business sponsors, using appropriate analytical testing and/or project management tools; uses appropriate analytic techniques to promote continuous improvement

Uses appropriate project management techniques and methods to produce project deliverables: defines and manages project scope and objectives; develops, maintains, and monitors project plan and deliverables; develops desktop procedures and trainings; defines and manages project scope and objectives to include identification and recommendation of creative and cost effective solutions; conducts and/or oversees pre- and post-implementation review and sign-off; presents project deliverables to appropriate audiences; identifies and implements contingency plans and performs risk management assessments

Develops business solutions to satisfy project goals and objectives.

Conducts problem solving resolution and decision making sessions for issues and projects

Promotes a culture of performance excellence by: enhancing job skills through quality process improvement and tools training/certification; participating in process and operational improvement initiatives; building and maintaining effective relationships throughout organization

Performs other duties as assigned or required
What You Need:
Required:

3-5 years of relevant BA experience

Bachelor's Degree required

Experience with testing tools
-
Automated testing
-
SQL
-
DB2
Preferred:

Experience in an Agile environment preferred

Healthcare experience preferred

Dental experience preferred
Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$45.00-$48.00 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
