MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Primary Care
Description
This full-time, on-site position provides an exceptional opportunity to deliver high-quality medical care in a supportive and collaborative environment within the Medical Practice industry.
As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of health issues, promoting wellness, and managing chronic conditions for our patients. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Perform routine preventive care and health screenings
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
- Stay current with medical research and advancements in Primary Care
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- State medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in Primary Care or related field is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Willingness to stay updated on medical practices and guidelines
Position Overview:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
- Call required
- Setting: PACE clinics, homes, assisted living, and nursing facilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to older adults with complex medical and functional needs in the PACE Program
- Spanish speakers preferred
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
