Position Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Job Type: Contract

Shift: Day/Night | 3×12.5-hour shifts

Travel Pay Range: $65–$70/hr

Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel ICU RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care. The ideal candidate will apply the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to manage complex patient conditions. Responsibilities include medication administration, advanced monitoring, documentation in electronic medical records, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Strong clinical judgment, critical-care expertise, and professionalism are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, evidence-based care using the full nursing process.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and discharge planning needs.

• Develop and communicate individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.

• Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned; support staff orientation and education.

• Document care and utilize computerized nursing informatics systems effectively.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient outcomes.

• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and blood/body fluid protocols.

• Stay current with professional competencies through ongoing education.

• Ensure patient confidentiality and represent the organization professionally.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Active Massachusetts RN license

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Completion of facility pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams (or ability to complete upon onboarding)

• Prior ICU/critical care experience

• Strong skills in:

  • Hemodynamic monitoring

  • Ventilator management

  • Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring

Preferred:

• BSN degree

• CCRN certification

• TCAR certification

• De-escalation training
