Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Hyannis, MA

Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $2,200 per week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist  for an exciting Travel or Local job in  Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up radiology equipment and ensure proper functioning for examinations.

• Select appropriate transducers, type, and frequency for each examination.

• Obtain, review, and retrieve patient history and clinical data to assist physicians in diagnosis.

• Position patients correctly and adjust immobilization devices to achieve optimum imaging views.

• Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and provide reassurance to reduce anxiety.

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.

• Requisition and maintain necessary supplies and equipment to support departmental operations.

• Coordinate workflow to maximize productivity while following departmental policies.

• Evaluate ultrasound and radiologic images for technical quality.

• Maintain accurate radiology records and properly label all images.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

• Registered by the ARRT (or registry eligible).

• Licensed to practice in the State of Massachusetts.

• Current BLS certification.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
