Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the company's overall strategy in alignment with Board-approved goals and CNS drug development milestones.
• Fundraising: Lead equity financing activities, manage investor relations, and position the company for future funding rounds and value inflection points.
• External Partnerships: Drive strategic partnerships, licensing, and collaboration opportunities across different department and regions.
• Operational Management: Build, lead, and scale a high-performing executive team; oversee R&D, regulatory, clinical, and manufacture readiness.
• Board Engagement: Act as the primary interface with the Board, ensuring transparent communication, disciplined execution, and strong governance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief Executive Officer - CNS NewCo should have:

• MD, or PhD and MD, familiar with drug development and understand patient unmet medical needs
• Proven CEO or serial entrepreneur with direct experience in CNS related diseases area, such as Alzheimer Disease or Parkinson Diseases, etc.
• Demonstrated success in taking products from early discovery to development through internal and external partnership
• Strong track record in venture fundraising and strategic deal-making
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate hands-on in a fast-growing biotech environment

• Base salary between $450,000 and $500,000.
