Matcha STEEP monitors building energy consumption in real time.
Matcha OS manages EV charging sessions, access, and payments.
Property owners pay in a manner tied directly to performance, reliability, and outcomes. With Matcha, energy management becomes a strategic asset for multifamily and commercial property owners.

Role Overview
As Director of Sales – Channel Partnerships, you will own the strategy, development, and growth of Matcha's national electrician and installer partner network. You are responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing high-quality electrical contractors as channel partners—ensuring consistent, cost-effective, and scalable EV charging deployments across multifamily properties nationwide.
Reporting directly to the CEO and Head of Sales, you will build the backbone of Matcha's installation ecosystem, aligning contractor incentives with Matcha's growth strategy while maintaining high standards for quality, speed, and customer experience. This is a quota-carrying role with significant earning upside tied to your ability to scale the partner network and close deals alongside the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Development
Design and execute Matcha's electrician, turnkey installer, sustainability consultant, and broader channel partner strategy across priority markets.
Identify and prioritize markets and partner profiles to support Matcha's rapid national expansion.
Partner Sourcing & Onboarding
Identify, vet, and onboard licensed electrical contractors starting in the Northeast and expanding nationally.
Ensure all partners meet Matcha's technical standards, pricing models, and customer experience expectations.
Relationship Management
Own and grow long-term relationships with key electrician partners—from independent contractors to regional and national firms.
Serve as the primary point of contact and partner success lead.
Deal Support & Execution
Collaborate closely with the sales and project development teams to support active deals—coordinating site walks, estimates, proposals, contractor bids, and technical feasibility assessments.
Act as a quota-carrying member of the sales team, contributing directly to revenue.
Standardization & Playbooks
Develop and refine standardized scopes of work, pricing benchmarks, and installation playbooks to ensure consistency across all partner-led deployments.
Quality Control & Performance Management
Establish and track KPIs for partner performance including cost, speed, and quality; implement feedback and continuous improvement systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with internal sales, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless handoff from contract to construction, and alignment between partner capabilities and customer needs.
Training & Enablement
Develop training materials and certification programs to ensure partners install Matcha systems efficiently and to standard.
Market Intelligence
Gather on-the-ground insights from contractors to inform product development, pricing strategy, and installation design improvements.
