Senior Project Manager - Utility-Scale EPC
Pay: Up to $145,000 base
Mostly Remote – Travel as Needed
Company truck + fuel card + full benefits
We are seeking a Project Manager to support and execute utility-scale solar, BESS, and medium/high-voltage projects of 100MW and larger. This role provides full project administration and coordination across engineering, construction, quality, schedule, and budget functions.
You will work closely with Superintendents, Senior PMs, and Owners to keep large-scale renewable projects moving safely, efficiently, and in alignment with contract and technical requirements.
This role is primarily remote, with travel during critical project phases, onsite reviews, and key coordination meetings
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project administration: contracts, submittals, purchasing, change orders, budgets, cost coding, and resource allocation
- Support planning, scheduling, and coordination across all project phases for 100MW+ sites
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and performance benchmarks
- Conduct site inspections; coordinate design reviews across civil, electrical, and structural disciplines
- Review for code compliance and adherence to contract specifications
- Monitor schedule impacts, delivery timelines, and critical path items
- Prepare RFIs, letters, notices, and all required project correspondence
- Maintain complete records of drawings, specs, samples, logs, and as-built documentation
- Track progress against goals, milestones, timelines, and budgets
- Attend mandatory internal and customer-facing project meetings
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in substation construction
- Strong professionalism, discretion, organization, and follow-through
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency; able to manage confidential info
- Experience tracking CPM schedules, RFIs, submittals, payment applications, and progress reporting
- Able to work independently with a strong sense of urgency
