Here's what you'd do:

• Our Research and Development (R&D) department develops, designs, and manufactures automatic transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, and power control systems.
• Your engineering knowledge will help our organization improve.
• This includes hospitals, data centers, utilities, mass transportation, and other essential aspects of life that need reliable power systems.
• You will be part of providing solutions to the world's growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.
• In this role, you will work under the direction of more senior engineers as you learn to enhance our current products and design and develop new products in support of our product roadmaps.
• Developing mechanical components of electrical distribution equipment.
• Testing mechanical components.
• Designing, identifying, and selecting components, materials, parts, and semi-products appropriate for mechanical systems.
• Creating mechanical models and tolerance analyses to simulate mechanical design concepts.
• Calculating and creating the final layout, including documentation and specification for parts, assemblies, or finished products.
• Maintaining technical product files.
• Analysing existing development procedures and suggesting improvements.
• Implementing or testing design solutions.
• Upgrading the design of existing devices by adding mechanical elements.
• Analysing localization requirements and designing/adapting products and solutions accordingly.
• Traveling to manufacturing locations and testing laboratories for new product implementation, visiting suppliers and customers.
• Direct or related functions in the design/ R&D of the mechanical aspects of electrical power distribution products.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $55.00 / hour .

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1 st shift).

Length: Temp (12 months ).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D Solid modeling related to component/system design in Creo/ProE.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Ability to make the world a safer and more reliable place.
• Working independently and within a team environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience with ATS (automatic transfer switches).
