3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

This role is critical for ensuring the facility is ready for peak production hours by maintaining automated systems while the plant is at its highest operational capacity.

## 3rd Shift Specifics

• Hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday (with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed).

• Location: Braintree, MA.

## Core Responsibilities

• Automated Machinery: Actively pursue and correct problems with automated packaging machinery, processing equipment, and filling lines.

• Systems Maintenance: Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, steam (high-pressure), water, and pneumatic systems.

• Infrastructure Support: Maintain facility equipment including refrigeration, compressed air systems, pallet jacks, pumps, and heat exchangers.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in electric motors, motor controls, device controls, and PLC-controlled or solid-state equipment.

• Fabrication: Perform gas and arc welding and soldering to repair mechanical and structural components.

## Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of maintenance experience, specifically within the food industry or a similar high-speed manufacturing environment.

• Testing: Applicants must pass the Standard Timing Model mechanical test with a score of 60% or better.

• Technical Skills: * Ability to read and interpret manufacturer manuals and blueprints for parts ordering.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), SQF (Safe Quality Food), OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, and Confined Space regulations.
