Job Title: Loader Unloader Job Description

Join our team at the Providence Convention Center for an exciting three-day event from March 26th to 28th. This temporary position offers the potential for long-term opportunities based on performance. You will play a key role in supporting event setup and breakdown by loading and unloading products, materials, and equipment for an expo event.

• Work closely with event staff and vendors to ensure smooth, efficient movement of goods throughout the venue.
• Load and unload boxes, displays, and event materials from trucks and carts.
• Move products to designated areas within the convention center.
• Assist with organizing, staging, and preparing materials for exhibitors.
• Follow direction from onsite supervisors and event coordinators.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the assignment.
• Handle materials with care to prevent damage.

• General labor experience.
• Proficiency with loading and unloading equipment.
• Experience using a pallet jack.
• Inventory management skills.
• Picking and packing expertise.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for the duration of the shift.
• Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to all three days of the assignment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in warehouse, general labor, events, or material handling.
• Experience working in convention centers or expo environments.

While this is a short-term assignment, strong performers may be considered for future long-term roles as hiring needs increase.

You will work in a small team at the Franklin warehouse alongside 4-6 full-time employees.

This is a Contract position based out of Franklin, MA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Franklin,MA.
