Overview
Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR) in Pittsfield, MA. Travel assignment starting 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks, with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $3,008 to $3,069. This position requires current licensure and specialized IR/Cath Lab skills and reports to the hospital’s IR team through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for IR/VIR patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures; monitor status and hemodynamics; assist with imaging-guided interventions.
- Support vascular access procedures and line management, including central venous lines and catheter placement/maintenance; assist with nephrostomy drainage, paracentesis, thoracentesis as indicated.
- Administer medications and contrast agents per orders; monitor sedation recovery; respond to emergencies with ACLS-ready capabilities, including defibrillation as needed.
- Perform comprehensive post-procedure assessments, discharge planning, and patient education; document care and procedures in Meditech Expanse; ensure accurate charting.
- Maintain sterile technique, equipment readiness, and room turnover; collaborate with physicians, radiology technologists, and other care team members to optimize patient safety and outcomes.

Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license; Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required for temporary staffing and must be uploaded with profile.
- Minimum 2 years of current Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab RN experience; Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology experience required.
- Defibrillation certification required; IV skills required; CCU experience required.
- ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) required.
- Meditech Expanse experience preferred.
- Ability to function independently in a high-stress environment; own vehicle required; profile must include travel-ready contact information; RTO requests must be included at submission (no more than 5 days).
