Regional Sales Manager - Dental Manufacturer
Regional Sales Manager – North America.
AI & Digital Dentistry Platform.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly driven Regional Sales Manager with strong sales experience in the U.S. dental laboratory market to support the expansion of an AI-driven dental technology platform across the United States.
This is a field-based, growth-oriented role focused on business development, strategic relationship building, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in dental industry sales — preferably with established networks among U.S. dental laboratories — and the ability to position advanced digital solutions in a consultative manner.
This position represents the company’s first dedicated U.S. commercial hire, making it a highly visible and impactful opportunity with direct collaboration across international teams.
About the Role:
This is a commercially focused role with clear revenue responsibility.
The platform addresses a major pain point in dental laboratories: automation of routine CAD design workflows (e.g., trays, night guards, stencil models), enabling labs to scale production despite technician shortages.
You will work directly with lab owners, executives, and decision-makers to:
- Identify growth opportunities within the dental lab segment
- Drive new customer acquisition
- Position AI-powered automation as a strategic competitive advantage
- Close and expand accounts across the U.S.
While technical knowledge is valuable, this role prioritizes sales execution, market access, and relationship leverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development across the U.S. dental laboratory market.
- Leverage existing relationships to accelerate market penetration.
- Identify, qualify, and close new accounts.
- Conduct onsite and virtual meetings with lab owners and executive teams.
- Present and position AI-driven automation solutions in a consultative manner.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams for product demonstrations and onboarding.
- Represent the company at major U.S. industry events and trade shows (e.g., Chicago Midwinter).
- Provide structured market feedback to leadership to refine go-to-market strategy.
- Build a scalable regional pipeline and manage forecasting.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of proven sales experience within the U.S. dental industry.
- Strong network within the U.S. dental laboratory market.
- Demonstrated success in territory growth, account acquisition, and revenue generation.
- Experience selling dental products, equipment, software, or lab-related solutions.
- Hunter mentality with the ability to open doors and close business.
- Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly (approximately one week per month).
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset with comfort operating independently.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience selling digital workflows, CAD/CAM systems, scanners, or software solutions.
- Exposure to automation, AI, or technology-driven platforms.
- Understanding of dental laboratory operations and production environments.
- Experience launching or scaling new products in a competitive market.
Location & Travel:
- U.S.-based.
- East Coast preferred (alignment with European teams).
- Field-based with national travel.
Work Style & Culture:
- High-autonomy, performance-driven environment.
- Strategic growth mindset with long-term partnership focus.
- Results-oriented culture balancing commercial ambition with product credibility.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary + commission structure (approx. 70% base / 30% variable).
- Significant upside tied to territory growth.
- Opportunity to play a foundational role in U.S. market expansion.
