Job Description
Job Description

Would you like to:
-
Make an impact at the leading edge of Cloud infrastructure?
-
Contribute to foundational security for Cloud servers?
-
Solve technical challenges across performance, scale, and security?
If yes, join us as a Senior Software Engineer working on Root of Trust (RoT) firmware for OCI servers.
About the Team
OCI's bare metal cloud offering gives customers access to the bare-metal hardware and lower-level components and software stacks for maximum control and performance-but introduces heightened security needs. Our team secures this environment by designing, implementing, and validating the firmware that underpins our chain of trust. We ensure hosts can be securely wiped/attested and provisioned across the infrastructure.
We also build companion software to enable secure provisioning and access to key subsystems.

You'll contribute to design and development at all software stages-from concept to release-and gain exposure to low-level hardware interfaces, firmware, user-facing tooling, and large-scale distributed systems.
You will:
-
Develop and enhance secure system management firmware and software, leveraging industry standards and custom extensions for Oracle's needs.
-
Help ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable code.
-
Participate in all phases of product development: rapid prototyping, bring-up, debugging, implementation and testing.
