We are currently seeking a dependable Scalehouse Operator to join our team at our recycling facility.
Position Overview
This role involves weighing vehicles in and out through a computer scale system, entering customer and material information accurately, and printing scale tickets for customers to use to retrieve payment for the metal they bring in. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy industrial environment.
Responsibilities
· Weigh customer and company vehicles in and out using the scale computer system
· Enter customer, vehicle, and material information accurately
· Print scale tickets and provide clear instructions to customers
· Communicate with yard personnel and customers in a professional manner
· Maintain organized paperwork and daily records
· Follow company procedures and safety rules
Requirements
· Basic computer skills
· Good attention to detail and accuracy
· Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
· Professional customer service and communication skills
· Ability to work in an industrial recycling plant environment
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous scalehouse, office, customer service, dispatch, or recycling experience preferred, but not required
· Experience with ticketing, weighing, or point-of-sale systems is a plus

Schedule
Part-time
Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
