Job Title: Patient Care Technician
Location: Old Road to 9 Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension).
Shift: Day Shift, 12-hour shift, 7a–7p.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 / Option for candidates to work 48 hours per week with OT after 48 hours.
Pay Details:
For Locals:
- $23–$25.
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 90-mile radius from the facility):
- Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $24.00.
- Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $864.00.
- Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $15.00.
- Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $540.00.
- Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $324.84.
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
- Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $25.50.
- Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $900.00.
We’re seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician to join our team providing hands-on support to patients and nursing staff in an acute care setting.
Requirements:
- Min 1-year Acute care experience – Required.
- BLS (AHA) – Required.
- CNA Certification – Preferred.
- Travel Experience – Required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient transport, transfers, and activities of daily living.
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose.
- Perform ECGs and apply monitoring equipment (NIBP, ECG electrodes, pulse oximetry, end-tidal CO₂).
- Administer oxygen via nasal cannula, NRB, or BVM as directed.
- Respond promptly to call lights and assist nursing staff with patient needs.
- Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
- Float to various units as needed and adapt to changing workloads.
