Boston Nursing Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Setting: Obstetrics Postpartum Inpatient Unit
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: January 10, 2026
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend rotation, Monday starts
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
• Holiday Coverage: Required (seasonal coverage)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2020 - $2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience in an inpatient healthcare setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with magnesium drips and telemetry highly recommended
• Must be separated for at least 6 months from BILH if previously employed (perm, per diem, or travel)
• No local candidates will be considered (Boston travel nursing jobs)
• Flu vaccine required during onboarding

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate postpartum care to mothers and newborns in an inpatient clinical environment
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage magnesium drips and telemetry
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education and support to families during the postpartum period
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and nursing standards
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as scheduled
