Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry - RNMD#001
Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Assignment Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift Options: Day, Evening, or Night Shift
Pay Range: $55 – $60 per hour
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment.
Provide patient and family education while maintaining a customer service–focused approach.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs and optimize outcomes.
Administer medications safely and assess patient responses.
Manage patients requiring telemetry monitoring, intravenous therapy, chest drainage devices, and epidural analgesia.
Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy, IV placement, and administration of cardiac medications.
Care for post-operative, orthopedic, and terminally ill patients with sensitivity and professionalism.
Accurately document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Respond promptly to urgent or emergency situations.
Adhere to entity/department policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience.
Phlebotomy and IV therapy skills required.
Prior travel nurse experience preferred.
Current BLS certification required.
Successful completion of IV medication module and basic arrhythmia exam.
