Retail Associate (Front-End & Stock) – Liquor Store

Location: Chris Gasbarro's Fine Wine & Spirits
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, up to 30 hours per week (flexible based on availability)
Requirement: Must be 18+

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Retail Associate to support both front-end operations and stock responsibilities in a fast-paced liquor retail environment. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers while also keeping the store organized, stocked, and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Front-End:

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
• Operate the register accurately (cash, card, and lottery transactions)
• Perform ID checks and escalate concerns to management as needed
• Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases

Stocking & Operations:

• Keep shelves and walk-in beer cooler fully stocked and organized
• Maintain the redemption room, including emptying machines and organizing materials
• Assist customers with redemption transactions
• Ensure redemption machines are functional and maintained
• Perform general housekeeping duties inside and outside the store

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ Must be 18 years or older
✔ Previous retail and/or customer service experience preferred
✔ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
✔ Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
✔ Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ ETIPS certification (preferred; training available)
✔ Beer, wine, or spirits knowledge is a plus
