The Pediatric Psychiatric Provider will be consulted by the PCP to render an opinion and provide a brief consultation prior to returning care back to the PCP. The pediatric Psychiatric Provider will conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate results. Our expectation is that this position will see new patient evaluations, and follow ups, that meet budgeted productivity expectations. This role will support CHPs mission, vision, and values and will adhere to compliance protocols as well as CHPs policies and procedures.

• Masters degree from an accredited nursing program.
• ANCC board certified Psychiatric Mental Health NP or Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist in Massachusetts
• Valid MA APRN state license with independent prescriptive practice.
• Valid DEA certificate and MCSR certificate.
• 2 years experience working full-time as a psychiatric NP in child psychiatry.
• Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of disease prevention a plus
