WHOOP is seeking a VP, Healthcare GTM to define and lead the strategy for integrating WHOOP into the healthcare ecosystem. This role will drive the development of partnerships and sales opportunities across health plans, self-insured employers, and health system procurement, enabling WHOOP to become a trusted, outcomes-driven health technology partner.
Working cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Commercial teams, this leader will translate market dynamics into scalable GTM opportunities that improve health outcomes, reduce costs, and expand access to WHOOP across via new reimbursement models and benefits environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Define and execute the strategy to integrate WHOOP into healthcare markets, including health plans, self-insured employers, and benefits consultants
Build and scale partnerships with commercial payers, Medicare Advantage, provider-sponsored plans, and innovative health systems
Develop opportunities that support virtual first care providers and health systems that align care delivery and outcomes-based models
Partner closely with Healthcare Product leadership to inform and evolve WHOOP healthcare offerings based on payer, employer, and provider needs
Structure, negotiate, and operationalize enterprise models including reimbursement pathways, pilot programs, value-based arrangements, and data integrations
Develop and communicate evidence-based value propositions demonstrating impact on outcomes, engagement, and cost reduction
12+ years of experience in payer strategy, employer health benefits, digital health partnerships, or healthcare innovation
Direct sales experience within the healthcare space
Deep understanding of payer economics, reimbursement models, risk structures, and value-based care
Proven track record of building and scaling opportunities with health plans, employers, benefits consultants and/or health systems
Experience integrating digital health solutions into benefits design, care delivery workflows, or population health programs
Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex, multi-stakeholder agreements and drive measurable business outcomes
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate healthcare market trends and translate them into partnership opportunities
Exceptional executive presence and relationship-building skills across payer, provider, and employer audiences
Analytical mindset with experience building business cases and leveraging data to inform decisions
Willingness to travel significantly as needed for the role
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 - $300,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
