Lead Drupal Developer - INTL LATAM

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Team Lead Drupal developer who will be spear heading a scrum team to create and develop a microsite for one of our top health tech clients. This project will be fast paced, and will take place over a 12-week sprint.

We are seeking a Drupal developer who is ready to work

with modern technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that is always

pushing boundaries. This position requires a combination of programming skills and aesthetics.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Drupal

backend/module development & site building. The top applicants are well-versed in industry

developments as well as content management systems. Along with technical skills, the ideal candidate must be comfortable mentoring other team members and leading the team completed project.

Roles and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment

• Design and develop optimal solutions using configurations and customization

• Mentor and guide team members during the 12 week sprint

• Understand and follow coding conventions, architectures, and best practices

• Work closely with frontend development teams on API design and integration

• Optimize code continuously to improve quality, maintainability, and performance

• Contribute and help lead agile ceremonies to improve team performance i.e., daily stand-up,

grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Pay ranges from 10-20 USD/HR based on qualifications and years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

• 10 years of experience in an engineering role (bachelor's degree or equivalent)

• 4+ years experience as a team lead or technical manager

• Developing web solutions in Drupal 10 & PHP implementations on LAMP stack

• Experience working with headless Drupal

• Site building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules

• Experience in developing custom Drupal modules

• Building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML, CSS & JS

• Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements,

Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs

• Experience with Adobe Launch

• Experience with D3

• Experience with Tag Management

• Excellent debugging and optimization skills

• Excellent collaboration, organization, and teamwork skills
