As the Lead Low Voltage Technician at Prestige Security Solutions Inc., you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various low voltage systems, including security cameras , access control systems , and intercoms . Your leadership will ensure that our team delivers superior service, meets deadlines, and adheres to safety protocols while meeting client expectations.
You will lead by example, guiding the team to success through your technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and efficient project management. Your role will be essential in maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect and in driving the continued success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance : Oversee and participate in the installation and servicing of low voltage systems, ensuring they are set up according to specifications and functioning properly.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and troubleshooting support to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues with low voltage systems quickly to minimize downtime and disruptions for clients.
- Project Management : Work with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
- Quality Control : Ensure that all installations and services meet the highest quality standards and comply with safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Client Interaction : Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with services provided and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Documentation : Keep accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs performed.
Qualifications:
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years in low voltage systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a strong background in security cameras, access control systems, and intercoms.
- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team effectively. Ability to train and guide junior technicians.
- Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented approach.
- Customer-Focused : Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Technical Knowledge : Thorough understanding of low voltage systems and industry standards.
- Certifications : Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g., NICET, Access Control, Security Systems).
