Sr. Mgr., Functional Engineering Management - Acoustics & Imaging Systems
Step into a visible, high-impact leadership role where your decisions directly shape engineering outcomes across an entire business area. The Senior Manager, Acoustics & Imaging Systems Functional Engineering leads cross-discipline teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities, accelerate program execution, and raise technical performance across a portfolio of programs. This role offers the opportunity to build and scale exceptional teams, influence strategy with senior leaders, and drive meaningful change through modern engineering practices, clear accountability, and a strong culture of ownership. If you are energized by complex challenges, leadership at scale, and the chance to make a lasting impact, this is a role where you can lead from the front and deliver results that matter. Build and maintain workforce and staffing plans to ensure the right talent capacity for current and future business needs. Own recruiting, hiring, performance management, coaching, succession planning, and development of high-performing teams. Drive disciplined engineering rigor and verification practices to improve first-time-right execution and reduce rework. Enable Agile delivery and rapid prototyping/simulation approaches while maintaining safety, compliance, and mission assurance requirements. Partner with Program Management, Chief Engineers, and functional peers on proposal activities, cost estimates, basis of estimate, and manpower planning. Communicate and influence effectively across internal and external stakeholders on matters of substantial importance. Ability to travel up to 25% (or as required by business needs).
