Duties

• Provide professional sports massage therapy sessions, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of tension, injury, or discomfort
• Educate clients on pain management techniques and injury prevention strategies based on physiology and anatomy knowledge
• Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting patient progress and treatment plans using medical terminology
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals or occupational health teams to support client recovery and wellness goals
• Ensure a safe, comfortable environment adhering to all health and safety regulations for med spa or clinical settings
• Promote excellent patient service by listening actively, addressing concerns, and providing personalized care

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to sports massage therapy
• Proven experience in patient assessment and developing effective treatment plans for pain management and injury recovery
• Expertise in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy for targeted relief
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and foster trust
• Familiarity with occupational health principles to support workplace injury prevention and recovery programs
• Previous med spa experience is highly desirable, demonstrating comfort working in a client-focused environment
• Ability to communicate complex health concepts clearly while maintaining professionalism and empathy
