Location: Goodnight Johnny’s American Music Bar
Hours: Wednesday–Sunday, 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM (plus Sunday Brunch 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced and energetic Front-of-House Manager to lead our service team, oversee nightly operations, and maintain our reputation for exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to management, responsible for ensuring smooth nightly operations in a lively restaurant environment. This role combines leadership, organization, and hospitality expertise in a dynamic, music-filled, busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead front-of-house operations during dinner service and Sunday brunch.
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate bartenders, servers, hosts, and support staff.
- Manage bar inventory, assist with ordering, and track usage and costs.
- Maintain and optimize the performance of key systems:
- OpenTable (reservations and seating)
- Toast (POS and checks)
- KickFin (tip distribution)
- Slang (staff communication)
- Support guest relations and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee closing duties on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Attend weekly management meetings on Wednesdays.
- Work closely with Event and Catering Managers to schedule staff
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and labor standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of front-of-house management experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Strong ability to manage staff schedules, inventory, and service logistics.
- Familiarity with restaurant management technology (Toast, OpenTable, etc.).
- Availability during required closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
· TIPS Certification
· CPR Certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $55,000 – $65,000 annually (depending on experience)
