ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Burlington, Massachusetts (zip 01803) – Greater Boston area
• Healthcare Setting: Critical Care Float Pool (ICU & PCU)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (locum tenens)
• Shift: Night Shift, 12-hour shifts (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/13/2025)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470 - $2,540 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• 2-5 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Experience in Trauma Level I facility preferred; Trauma Level II experience considered
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of application
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required
• Must pass Telemetry test on first day (pass/fail)
• Cannot have worked at any Beth Israel facility in the past six months
• Facility is not accepting local candidates for this travel nursing job

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Float between ICU and PCU units as needed to provide critical care nursing support
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care to critically ill individuals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in ongoing clinical education and maintain required nursing certifications
• Work every other weekend as part of the nursing schedule
