Door Systems & Access Control Technician
Location: Devens, MA
Schedule: MondayâFriday | 8:00 AM â 4:30 PM
Pay: Based on experience
Weâre seeking a hands-on technician to maintain and repair commercial door systems and access control hardware at a large pharmaceutical facility. This is a clean, well-managed site offering steady hours, specialized work, and a wide variety of door systems.
What Youâll Do
Repair and maintain dock levelers and dock locks
Service exterior sliding gates and motor-operated roll-up doors
Maintain interlocking man doors and storefront glass entrance doors
Repair commercial man doors and hollow metal doors with low-energy operators (automatic/ACT doors)
Inspect and service rolling steel fire doors (utilities)
Maintain airwalls (OCC partition doors)
Troubleshoot and repair high-speed roll-up doors
Install and service mag locks, electric strikes, sensors, and access control devices
Troubleshoot door operators, closers, locks, and safety systems
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and light general facility repairs
Document work performed and communicate clearly with site leadership
Skills & Experience That Make You a Great Fit
Hands-on experience with commercial and automatic door systems
Knowledge of dock equipment, automatic operators, and access control systems
Familiarity with brands such as Stanley, Dormakaba, Tormax, Schlage, or similar
Comfortable using a phone or tablet for work order management
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely in a team environment
Bonus: Experience in lab or manufacturing environments, cGMP knowledge, or AAADM certification
