Assistant Professor of Immunology - Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School

The Department of Cancer Immunology & Virology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Department of Immunology at Harvard Medical School invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The academic appointment will be in the Department of Immunology at Harvard Medical School, which provides mentoring, the ability to closely interact with HMS scientists, and access to core resources. The position is funded and will be located at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The position provides an attractive start-up package and outstanding opportunities for collaboration with basic and translational investigators. Successful appointment to Assistant Professor will be based on evaluation of research experience, training, and achievements, including teaching activities.
Candidates with an M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. are eligible to apply. Candidates will be expected to participate in the teaching activities of the Harvard Medical School for medical students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
