Clinical Program Manager
The O'Connell House is a new safe home, located north of Boston in the Merrimack Valley, serving adult female victims of human trafficking who may be single, pregnant, or with a young child. In addition to the Executive Director, the program is staffed with Catholic Religious Sisters. The program seeks to hire an experienced, enthusiastic, and dynamic Clinical Program Manager. The Clinical Program Manager will collaborate and consult with partnership psychiatric and medical institutions to plan and manage the delivery of residential, mental health, and healthcare services to clients. This is an exciting entrepreneurial start-up environment - one in which you should be comfortable. The Clinical Program Manager will supervise the residents and staff, and plan and implement the mental and physical health care program. In collaboration with the Executive Director, health consultants, and entities, the Clinical Program Manager will plan and implement a program that meets the highest standards, provides trauma-informed care, and complies with all pertinent state and federal regulations. The Clinical Program Manager must possess extensive knowledge of trauma-informed practices and care, a strong ability to solve complex problems, and excellent decision-making skills, including critical thinking. Job Title: Clinical Program Manager Job Summary: Conducting assessments of clients suffering from life-changing events, designing treatment plans, evaluating the results for the client, and making changes to the plan as needed. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Working intimately with the Catholic Religious Sisters in providing loving care to all residents and bringing the love of Christ to all those who live and work, or volunteer, at the O'Connell House.
- Overseeing implementation of the mission and vision for all program services in partnership with the O'Connell House. Must have excellent oral and written skills;
- Implementing and complying with policies and procedures adopted by the Board of Directors;
- Responsible for the recruiting, vetting and the use of survivor mentors throughout the program;
- Conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, which, together with screening, level of care assessment, and other initial diagnostic interviews and strategies; drive treatment planning; Models and supports clients in health and wellness activities and with using healthy coping skills;
- Together with clients, help to identify needs and develop individualized, strength-based treatment plans that reflect the client's goals and objectives. Review and update Treatment Plans as required;
- Providing individual and group therapy; Providing family education and counseling (telephone), when appropriate; Crisis intervention
- Coordinate with the Ex. Director on identifying and establishing partnership(s) with mental health education programs; responsible for the supervision and reporting on counseling interns placed at The O'Connell House
- Work with the consulting psychiatrist to ensure that clients' behavioral health needs are being addressed; facilitating and integrating the psychiatrist's recommendations and medicinal regimens;
- Using a victim-centered and trauma-informed approach, work collaboratively with the clients and other treatment team members (internal and external) to help support clients in their treatment and recovery;
- Oversee the medical needs and appointments of residents;
- Complete paperwork requirements and maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records;
- Participate in all staff development and training as required;
- Establishing effective communication between staff and residents and children of residents and providing for their input into program planning and operating procedures;
- Meet all necessary state licensure requirements
- 2+ years of clinical experience, working directly with clients
- Licensed mental health professionals able to supervise interns.

- Master's Level (or higher) degree and State and/or Board Licensed Clinician, Psychologist, Social Worker, LMHC, or APRN/RN.
- Three or more years of experience and extensive knowledge of trauma-informed practices and care for individuals with co-occurring disorders, trauma disorders, homelessness, and survivors of domestic violence and/or human trafficking.
- Experience managing residential programs.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, and excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge and record of managing policy, processes, and services to achieve excellent standards of care.
