A night shift Pharmacist opportunity is available at a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This contract role offers a 7 on, 7 off schedule, working overnight from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing a focused environment to apply pharmaceutical expertise and contribute to patient care during critical hours.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in their daily tasks
• Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and provide dosage adjustments as needed
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize electronic health record systems including EPIC and Pyxis for efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license is required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication management
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
