Job Description

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.

How will you make an impact?

The Senior Director of National Biobank Initiatives will lead a global team responsible for securing strategic partnerships with national biobanks and large-scale population health programs worldwide. This role drives the development and execution of complex deal strategies, ensuring Olink and Thermo Fisher proteomics solutions are selected as the preferred platforms for national-level biomarker and multi-omics initiatives.

The leader will build alignment across diverse internal stakeholders—including commercial, scientific, regulatory, and operations teams—to deliver coordinated, high-impact solutions for these strategic accounts. Externally, the role requires engagement with government bodies, policymakers, and public health leaders to articulate the value of proteomics in advancing population health, translational research, and precision medicine. Success in this position depends on orchestrating cross-functional collaboration, influencing senior decision-makers, and consistently delivering large-scale, multi-stakeholder partnerships that establish long-term national programs.
