Technical Recruiter, Software Engineering

This is a hybrid in-office position based at our Boston HQ, with work from home on Fridays. You'll be in the office Monday through Thursday.

This position is a 6 month contract role, with the possibility of becoming permanent

Hourly rate: $30 - $35

We're looking for a strategic and analytical Recruiter to join our Technical Talent Acquisition team.

As a candidate's initial point of contact, you'll be a talent and brand ambassador for Wayfair. With hiring managers, you'll act as a consultative thought partner, offering industry insights and process recommendations. What You’ll Do

• Drive the full lifecycle recruiting process, including sourcing , screening , interviewing , evaluating, and offer negotiation , to meet established metrics.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and peers through clear, frequent communication and reporting.

• Effectively set and manage expectations with hiring managers and cross-functional partners, while educating them on the recruiting lifecycle.

• Deliver a world-class candidate experience by applying empathy and transparency with candidates.

• Leverage data and critical thinking to diagnose recruiting challenges and guide search strategy.

What You’ll Need

• Around 1 year of professional experience in full-cycle recruitment or sourcing, ideally within a fast-paced environment or a staffing agency.

• An interest in or foundational understanding of technical hiring , particularly in areas like Software Engineering, Data Science/Machine Learning, Analytics, or Product Management.

• Strong relationship management skills with an ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers.

• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and thrive in an environment with competing demands.

• Comfort with a data-driven environment and the ability to use metrics to inform decision-making.

• Strong partnership skills , an action-oriented mindset, and an ability to be responsive, tactful, and diplomatic.
